Open Call for Lead QA Engineer & Automation

  • Leadership:
    • Lead and inspire the QA team, providing mentorship and guidance.
    • Foster a culture of quality, continuous improvement, and innovation within the QA department. 
    • Set clear expectations and performance goals for team members.
  • Test Planning:
    • Create detailed test plans and strategies for each feature release, ensuring alignment with product roadmaps.
    • Collaborate closely with product owners and developers to define the scope of testing and acceptance criteria.
  • Automation:
    • Develop, maintain, and expand the suite of automated test scripts, integrating them into the CI/CD pipeline.
    • Implement best practices for test automation, such as test data management and test environment provisioning.
  •  Manual Testing:
    • Perform manual testing when necessary, especially for exploratory testing, edge cases, and user experience evaluation.
    • Ensure comprehensive test coverage, including smoke & regression testing.
  • Bug Tracking:
    • Identify, document, and report software defects, tracking them to resolution.
    • Prioritize and manage the bug backlog effectively, collaborating with development teams to expedite fixes.
  • Documentation:
    • Maintain comprehensive test documentation, including detailed test cases, test data, and test execution results.
    • Generate test reports and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders, highlighting risks and recommendations.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Continuously improve QA processes, methodologies, and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in software quality assurance.


  • Experience:
    • 4+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality software products.
    • 1 up to 2 years in a leadership or managerial role, demonstrating the ability to lead and inspire a team.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in test planning, including the ability to define test objectives, scope, and strategy.
    • Strong expertise in test case design, ensuring comprehensive coverage of functional and non-functional aspects.
    • In-depth knowledge of test automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, or similar.
    • Familiarity with mobile app testing on both iOS and Android platforms, addressing device fragmentation and platform-specific challenges.
    • Understanding of Agile or Scrum methodologies, with experience in adapting QA processes to fit agile development cycles.
  • Communication Skills:
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
    • Ability to communicate complex technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Leadership Skills:
    • Proven ability to lead and mentor QA teams, fostering their professional growth.
    • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects, allocate resources, and set clear priorities.
    • Experience in conducting performance reviews and providing constructive feedback.
  • ProblemSolving:
    • An analytical mindset with the ability to identify, diagnose, and resolve complex quality issues.
    • Proactive in identifying potential quality problems, devising solutions, and implementing preventive measures.
  • Testing Strategy:
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive testing strategy tailored to dua’s unique requirements.
    • Ensure that the testing strategy aligns with the product’s goals, user experience, and business objectives.
  • Quality Assurance Process:
    • Establish and enforce QA best practices and standards, keeping them up-to-date with industry trends.
    • Conduct regular code reviews and quality assessments, collaborating closely with development teams to drive quality improvements.
