Elidoni (37) from Vlora and Anxhela (33) from Lushnja met through dua.com — at a time when they were living in different countries: he in France, she in Albania.

From the start, Elidoni was very clear about his future goals. “Right from the beginning of our acquaintance, in August 2024, I told her my intentions were serious. I’m at a stage in life where I want to meet a woman I like, love, and with whom I can build a family,” he says.

For both of them, the foundation of their relationship was constant communication and honesty.

“Continuous communication helped us build more trust in each other. We were open, straightforward, and knew exactly what we wanted,” Anxhela explains.

Just a few months after their first date, their lives changed completely. “We liked each other in person as well and decided to start a family. At the end of October 2024, Anxhela became pregnant. In December, we went with my family to ask for Anxhela’s hand, and we got engaged,” Elidoni shares.

On February 28, 2025, he brought Anxhela to France, where they are eagerly awaiting the birth of their son, whom they will name Diell — a name inspired by the dua.com app.
