Gentrit & Agnesa

Agnesa is an energetic 19-year-old girl from Vushtrri, full of passion and dreams of becoming a famous fashion designer. Gentrit, a 23-year-old from Malisheva, is an ambitious young man with a strong desire for work and success, who was living in Italy, in the magical city of Venice.

Agnesa (19) is a young girl from Vushtrri, full of energy for life. Currently, she is pursuing her dream of becoming a famous fashion designer, driven by her deep passion for this industry.

Gentrit (23) is a young man from Malisheva, who also has great ambitions regarding his career. Even though he had opportunities to build his life abroad, he decided to return to his homeland, Kosovo.

In May of last year, Gentrit hadn’t visited Kosovo for two years. However, while browsing social media, he became intrigued by a love story on dua.com, which inspired him to install the app.

“I was determined to try my luck, but I never imagined that day I’d become a love story on dua.com myself,” he says.

Just three days after creating his profile, using the “flight” option on dua.com, he selected Prishtina with an 80-kilometer radius, and that’s how he found Agnesa.

“When I saw her profile, something inside me told me she was the,” recalls Gentrit.

Communication between them began immediately and grew increasingly intense. After three months of conversations, in August 2024, Gentrit made the big decision: he returned to Kosovo solely to meet Agnesa.

“I left Italy for love,” he says proudly.

“When we met for the first time, I immediately knew she was the right for me. I never returned to Italy. We’re together now, building our life and future here in Kosovo,” says Gentrit.

Gentrit always knew he’d marry an Albanian girl. Laughing, he adds: “My mother wouldn’t have allowed it to happen otherwise!”

For him and his friends in Italy, dua.com was something completely normal. “When you know what you want, you go on dua.com and find love there,” he says.

Gentrit admits that Agnesa’s appearance immediately caught his attention, but what made him fall in love with her was her character and values.

“Agnesa is a girl with a strong personality; she’s hardworking and very mature. She makes me incredibly happy, and I’m proud to have her in my life.”

In a recent meeting with Gentrit, his enthusiasm and happiness were clearly evident. Filled with emotion, he said that returning to Kosovo was “the best decision I’ve ever made in my life.”

Gentrit and Agnesa had planned to get engaged in August 2025, but Agnesa had always dreamed of a romantic proposal.

On August 13, 2025, Gentrit and Agnesa officially celebrated their engagement in a wonderful ceremony at a restaurant in Drenas. What started as a party for 150 guests turned into a celebration that continued at home as well, since the guest list kept growing every day.

After the viral proposal video organized by dua.com, the couple has become famous throughout Kosovo. So many people wanted to be part of this love celebration that organizing it became more difficult than they had imagined.

“The guest list kept growing every day,” says Agnesa laughing. “Everyone wanted to come and be part of this special day. We’ve become like the family celebrities!”

Gentrit adds: “After the proposal video, many people recognize us on the street and congratulate us. This made us realize how many people have been touched by our story. That’s why the party became so big – we couldn’t refuse all those who wanted to celebrate with us.”

The party was so beautiful and with so many people that after the restaurant, the celebration continued at home as well. “It was an unforgettable day that we will remember for the rest of our lives,” they say with great emotion.

The couple is now planning their wedding, which they want to make even more special. “It will be something we will never forget,” they say with great emotion.
