Louel & Odeta

Odeta, 28, from Peja and Louel, 30, from Përmet had lived in the same city for years. They walked the same streets and shopped at the same markets, yet had never met. That changed one June evening when Odeta’s friend took matters into her own hands. Five months later, the couple were living together in Tirana and building a future neither had expected to arrive so quickly.

Odeta28 years old, born and raised in Tirana, although her roots are in Peja. The parents had come to work in 1996 and the Albanian city became their new home. She works as a pharmacist and had decided to close the chapter of the active search for love."When he comes, he will come" she thought.

Louel30 years old, lived in Tirana for 8 years. He works for an American transportation company and had quietly built his life in the capital. But something was missing. It had tried various apps with no results – they were full of fake profiles and people who weren't serious. The time had come, as he himself said,"I'm looking for someone to take me as my wife." Louel says he was very aware of the whole process. He wanted to get to know the whole family and getthe announcement done as soon as possible, so that he and Odeta could focus on their relationship.

In August, they decided to move in together. In October, two months later, they found themselves in their shared apartment.Since October 15, 2025, they have been living together.

The choice of apartment was the first real challenge. The first event they would choose together, the first decision for their lives. Odeta says she realized how much Louel was worried about providing her with a life as good as her parents had offered her.
