In the world of online dating, many users experience frustrating situations—being ghosted, talking to people who aren’t serious, or having conversations that go nowhere. At our core, we want dating to be intentional, respectful, and emotionally healthy. That’s why we’re introducing a new feature: Active Chat Limit
What is Active Chat Limit?
This feature limits the number of active conversations a user can have at the same time. This means less distraction and more meaningful connections. Users won’t be able to start new conversations without first closing or finishing existing ones—unless they upgrade to Premium.
Even with Premium, the number of active chats remains limited. We believe that focused, intentional conversations lead to better outcomes — and we want to preserve that experience for everyone. Additionally, when a user reaches the allowed chat limit, access to other parts of the app will also be blocked.
Why does it matter?
When someone is chatting with too many people at once, the communication becomes shallow and inconsistent. This leads to confusion, unmet expectations, and a lack of commitment. With Active Chat Limitations, we prioritize quality over quantity, encouraging more honest and focused conversations that lead to real connections.
