Alma from Klina and Arlindi from Gjakova, who lives in Germany, are getting ready for their engagement, which is expected to take place in July 2025. Amid preparations for the celebration that will formalize their relationship that started 8 months ago, they share with dua.com users how their love story began!

Alma (25) is a young, energetic woman from Klina, a hairdresser by profession. In Kosovo, she had built a stable and happy life, but all that was missing was the person of her heart.

Arlindi (25), an ambitious young man, employed in Germany but raised with Albanian cultural values, wanted to share his life with a woman who met all his criteria.

The couple’s first meeting happened after two months of conversation, when Arlindi came to Kosovo specifically to meet her.

Since Arlindi lives and works in Germany, the couple is planning to build their future there.

Although Alma says that Arlindi is more romantic, a grand gesture of love on her part is the brave decision to leave her family and profession for the love of her life — for the person of her heart.

“I will leave my profession, I will move away from my family and I will go to live with Arlindi in Germany. I will do it for love, because with him I am happy and together we want to start a family”, — says Alma.
